unitednuclear(dot)com is a interesting website, very clear on the HHO car, conversion, and how not to make a moving bomb with your car

I highly recommend checking that site out for a realistic hydrogen car amongst other things.

I still don’t see it as being a viable business model. MUCH higher cost of ownership, same energy burden on the consumer. The only thing this accomplishes is zero emissions. Whoopie!

out of all the vehicles in the world, why convert a chevy equinox? that thing is the worst pos available for the job. Its heavy as hell, horrible handling, bad controls.. uck….(my company car is an equinox… its torture every single time i drive it)

Its too bad that some of the money that was lost in the crash was not invested in things like the refueling station. People like to sit on their money till some accountant steals it though.

It need sto be forbidden to sellor buy new cars on gasoline in the US, and to get a loan for a new car must be cheap, you can finance this by adding higher taxes on gasoline, US people will than earn on car production and the building of the gasoline stations.

well it displaces the emissions to the refinery that makes the H2, And the base material would still come from imported oil, Z I know you know that, that was for the comment prior to yours.

I like the graphics on the side, simplified water molecule. I’ll all about bustin’ that element apart and getting hydrogen myself and not allowing THEM to monopolize a very basic procedure.

You only need electricity to separate the hydrogen. which can come from renewable sources, and I do agree with you ZFF, nothing is achieved unless it is cost effective, coming from GM id expect the car itself to be upwards of $60000, the hydrogen at a station will be expensive simply because of corrupt commercial practices, let alone that a tank filled hydrogen is alot more explosive than gasoline, if i were to get one of these, I would probably just end up making my own hydrogen pump
