does anyone know anything about when the Honda hydrogen fuel cell will be available to the masses?

by admin on January 23, 2010

trying to save $ for a Prius, but i figure by the time i have money for that the Honda Hydrogen Fuel Cell will, hopefully, be open to the public. pretty much, by the time i save up for the Prius, the new Honda hydro. cell should be ready for release. does anyone know when it will be ready for the full public to use? any info that isn’t already on the site? i’d like to learn more about this car.

Look for hydrogen vehicles by the middle of the century at the earliest.

Prototypes are actually already in use in the L.A. area. It splits hydrogen off from natural gas for fuel, so you use a device to fuel it at home. But you probably already knew that.

According to this page, dated November 14 2007, limited marketing to begin next summer:

First, Google it and read the details, it will only be available to the masses when the refueling infrastructure is in place, till then it is a conditional lease.
I’d like to haqve one to park in my living room, a gorgeous car to be sure!
