Don’t think it is quite as simple as being able to tax it, for a start hydrogen is bl**dy dangerous stuff, has a tendency to go bang as in the Hindenburg airship, second it degenerates in the tank so if you don’t use it in a few days it doesn’t go bang any more and thirdly there is only just enough water to drink at the moment, how are we going to live if it is all being used up to extract the hydrogen to run the cars and power stations. Now i don’t like the governments of this world anymore than the next person but I don’t think this is all down to their greed for ever more taxes

When will some car manufactor come out with a car that will run on a gallon of water for the whole month of driveing hit the show room floors

Honda is the only one that is tip toeing on this thin ice of panic for the nasty OPEC people of the world

Now why hasn’t some Brain thought of this one because government would go into panic mode no more $0.30 a gallon tax being collected

The contraption that makes the gas is presently a huge plant. That is the problem so far, developing infrastructure to deliver the gas, and a way of separating the hydrogen that is not in itself energy intensive.
